40R 2025 Plaza District Update / Addition

Project Overview
In January, the Town received a request from an engineer representing a developer interested in developing the 0.97-acre lot at 0 Alden Road. While this is considered a developer-driven 40R project, it remains fully subject to:
- Massachusetts Chapter 40R regulations
- The Town of Fairhaven Bylaws
- Existing 40R Design Standards
Wetlands & Environmental Review
A wetland review conducted by the Conservation Commission confirmed that the property contains significantly more upland area than initially estimated when the Plaza District 40R zone was established.
