🚲 🚧 Fairhaven Rail Trail / Bicycle Path Project beginning Monday, May 4th.
The plan is to start at the Mattapoisett Town line and work towards the Center of Town. Portions of the path will be temporarily closed while they work; signage will be posted accordingly. Some sections will be left as gravel for a short period of time before paving large segments.----
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will close the
New Bedford-Fairhaven Swing Bridge on Route 6
to vehicle traffic for necessary repairs this weekend ---
The Bridge will be CLOSED from 9pm on Friday, May 1,
to 5am on Monday, May 4.
